Does this gasket, go between carburetor and throttle body ?. What is the proper gasket to set carburetor on intake manifold 648977 or A6357, gasket

This goes between the base and the manifold. For gaskets between sections of the carburetor we have complete repair kits.

I typically see it at the bottom. But alot of times if you have that thick gasket people dont use it as long as they are sealing properly.
