I have a 46 CJ2A and I am looking for the small arm that attaches to the carburetor and holds the the choke cable. The arm has a spring and moves when the choke cable is pulled. is this included with the choke cable or is that a separate part?

My original cable has a slight concave or crescent shaped groove (guide channel) running the entire length of the control rod just behind the knob. It difficult to see if that detail is on this reproduction. I’m looking to simply swap out the knob and cable as my receiver is brass. Does this copy have that groove?

How do you cut the sleeve on the Choke @ the throttle cable.? I have the Service Manual and it does not say anything about it at all. Thank you. Dan.

If you need to shorten the inner and outer cable, we just use wire cutters.
