I have CJ3A. I have a good manifold pipe. Dose the long extention fit to that pipe? With the long extention the muffler will be under the back seat,is that right? Also I see that there is a round muffler for that model. Will the flat muffler also fit this system? Right now my old flat muffler is hooked to the manifold pipe and is under the gas tank. I can not use it in the future because it is too loud and has no exit fitting. Dose the round muffler and flat muffler sound the same? Thanks
Willys Tech:
Yes the extension pipe fits into this one. On all CJ's they only ever used the round muffler. It bolts to the intermediate crossmember.
