I have a '66 CJ5 Jeep that is eating bendix drives. When my starter engages flywheel sometimes it just spins so I had my starter professionally rebuilt and 3rd start the bendix explodd and even broke my cast starter housing! Will the 12 V starter advertised for the F134 engine work, are they in stock and any ideas why I am suffering this issue?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Your flywheel ring gear is bad probably. And you haven to make sure you are matching apples to apples on the starter bendix and ring gear. Email mike@Kaiserwillys.com to help.

On the '56 CJ5 F Head motor, what size (length and pitch) is the upper mounting bolt that secures the starting in the flywheel housing? It was missing on mine when I bought it. I believe that top hole is threaded into the flywheel housing correct? Any help is appreciated!

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We'll check the book to see if i have a specific size.

I have a '43 MB. The engine and bellhousing have been changed to later parts. It currently has an Autolite MDU-7004 (12v?) starter in it. I need a 6v starter that will work with the same flywheel and bellhousing that the MDU-7004 fits. Can you cross refrence something for me?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Email mike@kaiserwillys.com the center to center on the mounting, diameter of the register (center hole starter goes thru in bellhousing) and your flywheel tooth count. We can help.

How much is the weight for this package ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They weigh approx 25 pounds boxed.

I need a starter for my 1963 Willys pickup with a 230 6 cyl Tornado engine. the starter that was in it was ab autolite MDU 7001 with a PS-1359 on the body. Do you have a rebuild kit or would this starter work? Thank You

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We can rebuild yours or we have some other options too. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com

Looking to replace the starter on my Cj2A. Not sure of the model number, however, it appears very similar to the model picutred. Castings on the current starter are "2271" "K19" "3". What additional info is needed to confirm the correct replacement? Thanks,

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There should be a number cast into it typically with the letter P. Please let me know what it is stamped. Its by the head or collar section.

As I live in the United Kingdom how much will it cost to ship this item to my address in the UK, at 22 Moor Edge, Crossgate Moor, Durham, how long will it take to reach me and might there be any issues/difficulties with Custom Clearance.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com your full shipping address and i can quote you out.
