Questions & Answers
I've had 4 fans for my L-134 in my 1946 CJ2A, I am guessing the one is original and the other 2 are identical The 2nd two I found were exactly like the one that was on my Jeep when I rescued it out of cornfield in 1991, where it had sat since 1974. Those 3 fan blades were sorta flimsy and developed cracks where the blades attached. One of the blades broke off and damaged my hood and radiator. This was in the infancy of the internet. I was walking around in a salvage yard and found a L-134 with no head laying on the ground. It still had it's water pump and fan. I took the fan off and noticed it looked the same as my 3 but it seemed heavier. When I got it home, it looked 100% identical, except it indeed was made heavier (thicker) and stouter. This fan is still serving me well !!! I was told it might be a Military fan (M38 or M38A1???). I'd like to get one just like it for a spare. Do y'all possibly have this style/exact fan in stock?? -----Nelson
This is the only style fan that we would have. Certainly nothing with only 3 blades.
Will this fan fit a 38a1 1952?
