Questions & Answers

So I replaced this part last year along with the knuckle arm because the studs kept stripping and breaking on the original. I figured the arm would be a tight fit on the studs, no play to get worse. The fit was just as loose on the new parts as the old. I installed new knuckle, arm and studs, tightened up nicely. Happened to be working on brakes today, grabbed the wheel and it's all loose again! Is there a one piece unit available that would fit? The driver side has been fine since '42...

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are NOS originals. You probably need to check your king pin bearings, wheel bearings and spindle nuts too.

What is the difference between this part and your 805784 knuckle support? Can you use the 805784 to replace the A811?

Willys Tech:
No problem the MB/GPW used a different set than later CJ's. They are not interchangeable.
