What do you call the 15.5 in. cable that runs from the rear plate. It has a ball on one end ant 3/8ths fine thread on the other end.

The current rear plate on my '49 3A has a sort of triangular shaped cutout in the center for the crank, whereas this one is round like for a GPW. Will this one interchange with the plates that have the triangular center cutout?

You stated in the description that this plate is for the F and L 134 but in the questions you state its for L134 only. Do the L and F head engines use the same mount plate?

It is a typo. It will do both. Make sure you are matching up to your starter motor numbers listed above.

Is this plate available for a 1965 cj5 with 134f engine?
