Hello, I have a CJ5 with a 129 teeth ring gear. Will it fit right on top of the starter?

No, this part is for the military M-series only. Thanks

I dropped a wrench that caused an arch at the starter terminals. Now I have lost all electrical power to the vehicle. What's the likelihood that the starter switch is the problem? It was running good until this misadventure.

Willys Tech:
I would take it up to a local automotive electrician. They should be able to run some tests. Its hard to say for sure.

I have a 1951 M38 Jeep WITH A L 134 MOTOR WERE DOES THIS PART A7225-38 GO ON THE STARTER. I have not removed the starter yet.
