Questions & Answers
My 1949 jeep truck has the L 134 engine and did not come with an oil filter. I am going to put one on but have a question of the location for the filter inlet from the block. My fuel pump is the dual action that provides vacuum boost. so there is little or no clearance to the port behind the pump for the oil line. Mine has 4 ports along the side of the block with the rear most used for the oil pressure Guage. Wil one of the other two work for use with the oil filter?

Yes, this hose with the 90 degree fitting we sell for it. Its just very tight but how it was designed.

The inlet for my oil line broke off is it safe to drill the left over fitting without damaging any thing in the block so I can tap it worried about hurting something in block HELP ?

Call us toll free and we can see what all is going on. You definitely want to remove with an 'easy out' if possibly.
