I have a 1957 m38a1 Willys jeep which tooth/spline count do I need? 53-71 CJ-3B, 5, M38A1, Truck, Station Wagon: ***29 Teeth*** (on your web page) part # 915670 *** 26T x 6 spline*** M38, M38-A1, CJ2A, CJ3A, some CJ3B, 4-63 4X4, 4-73 4X4 (on installation guide sheet)

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
An M38A1 in that year would typically be the 29 tooth count.

I bought a new canister from you, part number 808042A. I then bought these 2 lines for it. Well the new canister is smaller than the original. I was going to use it anyway since I spent 85 bucks on it but these lines do not fit the new canister. These lines fit my original canister which is in bad shape but these lines do not fit the canister you sell again part number 808042A. So I'm stuck using my old canister or looking for oil lines with different sizes on each end to fit the canister you sold me. What do I do now?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sounds like you had a military canister on there. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can help out with.

Hi, what is the difference between 647583 and 647583A? I have 647583 in my hands and the compression joint on one end is causing me some issues (connecting to the filter canister). I was thinking 647583A might have different fittings but the pics still show the same compression on one end. Perhaps __A does have different fittings but same pics were used for both product pages...? Thanks for help

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are the same. The A is just an interchange. Make sure you have the proper fittings A210.
