is the fitting 7/16 on both ends? The part I received is 7/16 one end, 1/2 inch on the other.

Would this hose work on an Lhead engine. The 10" hose you have listed seems a little tight on my engine and I would like a slightly longer one that 10" in length

I'm a little confused about the length. How does a 12 inch hose go from the oil filter mounted on the firewall to the top of the timing cover I front of the engine?

The canister didn't mount on the firewall. It was mounted ontop the cylinder head originally.
