I have acquired a pair of rear bumperettes from an M38 will these work on my 1950 cj3a...? I notice hole patterens are a bit different Is this the only difference between M38 and cj3a...?

The CJ-3A never used bumperetts. But they are a bit flexible and can be filed out as well to fit.
