Questions & Answers
I'm looking to have taillights installed on my jeep's body (current ones only on a Kelly hardtop) and there's no previous installation holes on the back of the body.. were these placed on the lower edge? And are these correct for a 1961 CJ-5 (non tuxedo)

Is there something that needs to be done to these lights to make them function as a tail light and blinker light. The one I got doesn’t ground through the housing (#912227) it has two wires and one of them has to be grounded to make the light work. It will work as a tail light or blinker but not both and the same filament lights up either way you hook it up.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You just need to use a dual filament bulb and wire into your turn signal harness.

I like these and want to keep close to original. Do you sell the 6V bulbs with dual filament for blinker operation? If so, do you have part number.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We do have a bulb for them. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com to help. Thanks!

I added these tail lights #12403.84 to my 1957 CJ5. I need signal lights and break lights added. What parts do I need to order to get the additional lights required or is there 1 unit that will do all 3 functions - tail lights, break light and turn signals?
David:
One wire is the running light, the other is the brake light. It grounds through the housing.
