For the transfer case boot I bought (801058), your comments say I need part number B0817 for the retainer ring. Will this retainer ring 2A0817 replace B0817 (which I can't find on your website)?

This 2A0817 will be proper for you. If you cant find a certain part number try removing your vehicle filter and it should pop up.
