Your video mentions a rubber mount for the rear mounting point for the Passsenger seat frame . What are you using?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It is a piece from the universal body mounting kit. But you can also use 953453.

in the first picture the welded brace closest to the pivots is welded closer to the top of seat frame. In the second picture the welded brace closest to the pivots not tubular and positioned on the bottom. which is the correct way?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
For the CJ-2A, they are welded to the top of the tube. The CJ-3A and CJ-3B had them on the bottom of the tube.

Have 1946 CJ2A, but no passenger side seat frame or the passenger side under-seat tool box to which to attach the front of the seat frame. Does Kaiser-Willys offer this tool box and the hardware to mount it and connect it to the seat frame? Also, am interested in bottom seat cushions for the two front seats (in tan canvas). Thanks.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
A3227K-2A is the part number for the tool bin. We have the seat frames, mounting pivots, cushions and all too. Please call us toll free and we can work it up for you. Thanks!

Found what I believe are the original seat frames for my 1948 CJ2A Serial Number J180978 but tubular frames appear to be of a 2-piece design not one continuous frame. The top section of the seat backs are missing. Anyone make just that portion of seat frame or do I just get a new driver and passenger frame?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We do sell the upper back part number: 765404 but originally they were a one piece design.

I'm tearing down my '47 CJ2A. Today I took the cushions off (redneck boat cushions) and there was a strange metal pan that looks somewhat stock under the bottom passenger cushion. Do these seats need pans, or do the cushions with plywood go right in? Thanks.
Willys Tech:
They originally used a wooden plywood bottom. We make the seat covers and cushion with the plywood pan or without. If you get it without then you have to make your own.

What prevents the passenger seat to pivot forward during an emergency stop, or a front-end collision? During a sudden stop, I imagine the seat will rotate around the pivot brackets ( the ones to have access to the tool box,) taking the passenger along and smashing his/her face against the front windshield. Do you sell some type of locking mechanism for the passenger seat?
Willys Tech:
I would install seat belts. Nothing did originally. Try part numbers: BELT-1 or BELT-2
