I recently purchased an 83 Jeep CJ7 258 with this carb on it. It needs some tuning and adjustment and possibly a rebuild kit. I have been unable to find any documentation on this. Can you please help me?

I have a two barrel intake manifold for L226 I know some have put a weber on would this work

I am in high school and I have a 78 cj5 I am restoring, the carter 1 barrel I have is in pretty poor shape and I was looking to upgrade to a double barrel carburetor to help increase horsepower as well as help it not sputter when the vehicle gets on steep angles. Is this what i'm looking for? If not do you have a product that you would recommend?
