Are the ready out of the box to accept the threaded style shackles? Thx

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please see our video on Youtube regarding the C shackles and their install with these leaf springs.

The photo shows a bushing at one end of the spring which I assume is the forward end. Is this supposed to be included? The ones I received have no bushings in them.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are less bushings but we have them. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com to help out. Thanks!

Will I need to press out the bushing in these for my M38 to allow the greasable shackle to fit?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Any bushing in the leaf spring needs to be removed and your new/old hardware used.

Cj3A with open shackle, how does this spring work with both ends bushed ? 1950

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this spring is for both rear ends. Thanks

My 42 Ford GPW's leaf springs have good arc, but all of my rubber bushings are dry rotted. Can I just replace the bushings?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We have complete shackle kits that will fix you up. Part numbers: 802061 & 802062

I just bought a 1942 GPW. I want to replace the leaf springs on front and rear. I live in rough country. What do you suggest?

Willys Tech:
The part numbers: A614 and A612 are the ones you would want to go with.

Do you carry or know anyone who carries the bulb socket backet on the black out lights that recess into the grill.I need 2.The bulb bracket are so rusted I can get the old bulb socket out.I'm converting the 24v to 6v on my 6v cj2a

Willys Tech:
For a CJ-2A they used part number: 641609 if you have a socket. It will mount if you have the early recessed style grill they used on the CJ-2A.

My '52 M38 has 11 leaves on the rear. It served as a radio Jeep at some point in time and the radio was mounted on the left side which of course makes it lean that way.. Anyway I plan on replacing them sometime before spring '13. Can I replace the center bolt and add the two extra leaves from my old springs? Or would it even be necessary? Thanks

Willys Tech:
Im sure you could and it may help the lean. I always recomment replacing springs in pairs. These will give you plenty of support.

I'm looking for something similar but for a 53 M38A1. Or more precisely the socket the bulb goes into (water penetrated and now rusted together) Although on mine the power leads enter the rear of the assembly as opposed to bottom. Any suggestions?

Willys Tech:
If your running 12 volt I would try part number: 2A0604-DF

my 1947 cj2a has a slight lean to the left 9 leaf w/still arch to them,I read one time early jeeps have a natural lean to one side in the rear springs,is that true? how and why? thanks.

Willys Tech:
Yes all old Willys lean to the drivers side alittle. But it should be too much. Typically any leaf springs still on the vehicle that are that old are not going to be good any more.

How can I tell or measure if my springs have lost some arch on a 3B. The only thing I can find in manuals is that I should have 8 of ground clearance

Willys Tech:
They should have an arch to them. If they look flat then they are worn out. Please call us toll free. We can figure out what you have together. Thanks!

I have a 45 MB and the rear leaf srings have 10 leaf. Will the 9 leaf that you offer be OK because I have brand new 10 leaf on the front( the new front came from Kaiser Willys).

Willys Tech:
Yes these are the proper ones for you and will work perfectly for you.
