Thinning paint or primer to 4 parts paint to 1 part thinner. We recommend XYLENE, XYLOL, or SYNTHETIC ENAMEL REDUCER. They can be purchased at your local hardware store, home improvement, automotive paint supplier or Grainger. Thanks

Will this work on a pre painted surfaces that's been sanded and prepped to accept primer? Or does it need to be stripped completely?

do you need to sand this primer and what grit before painting the O D Green?

I would always sand with finishing sand paper before doing paint to remove any imperfections. But from the factory, they never bothered to. Early CJ-2A's werent even primered.
