Hi, is the upper part of the pan completly empty? In my pan is a part filled with oil. I think this is not normal. Should it be completliy empty to float correctly?

I’m looking for the tube that the float attaches to It also bolts onto the bottom can’t seem to find it anywhere any help would be great

is there an o-ring between the float and the tube that attaches to the engine

Do you have any recommendations on how to clean factory originals - i have been told to remove and soak in carb cleaner for a few hours... Thanks for your help

is your floating oil screen the same as in the dodge 230 engine? they look similar?
