Are these replacement wiper blades compatible with the stock Willys pickup wiper arms? Part#977917 and 977918?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes

Dumb question, how does this blade attach to the arm? I have the arm that has a little bump at the end of it (like 977917) I can’t for the life of me figure out how to attach the blade to the arm.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The arm will attach by going into the clip at a 90 degree angle then bending over to lock in.

Is there a trick to getting the old blades on and sturdy? I bought all new arms and blades and my wiper blades are loose and fold over a bit when the wipers are on.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Call us toll free and we can try to help you out. Thanks!

On my 59 pickup the blades are all metal with a rubber swipe. The rubber is pretty much gone. The blade attaches to the arm with a small screw. The blades is 10 inches long. I doubt new plastic wiper blades will work. Is it possible to re- rubber old wiper blades? Thanks. John

Willys Tech:
Sounds like you have unoriginal wiper blades on your vehicle.

which wiper blade fits a FC 150? Thanks, FDS

Willys Tech:
We have had people use them for the vehicle but originally they were alittle different design for the Forward Control.

It seems as though the springs in my wiper arms are not applying enough pressure on the blade. Is that common? If so, can the springs be replaced or should I get the entire arm? Thanks so much!

Willys Tech:
I would jus get new arms and you'll be all set.

Whats the trick to getting the old wiper blades off? I have tried to depress the little tab, but have not been able to work the old blades off the wiper arms.

Willys Tech:
Bend the blade to a 90 degree angle to the arm and push down.
