How do I know what ring and pinion I have . I have the gear exposed but none of the numbers look familiar.
Willys Tech:
You can email mike@kaiserwillys.com your numbers and we can ID for you. Or just count the number of teeth on the ring and number of teeth on the pinion and divide.

Will the 4.88 ring and pinion gear set work in a Dana 44 rear end from a 1953 Willys wagon?
Willys Tech:
Yes it should work fine. You need to make sure you match your front end to it too.
