The groove that holds the fixed section of the glass seens to be about 4 inches to short to fit around the glass. Do I have to stretch it so much or aim I doing something wrong? Is there a left and right hand side version?

671419 is for the glass more towards the front of the vehicle that slides back and forth. 664257 is for the back side piece of glass that does not move. Thanks
