will this speedometer fit a 61 sedan delivery 2x4 with a t96 trans? what is the length of this cable?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you have the T96 it should. I will double check as well.

I have a 55 wagon with a BW Overdrive on the back. The hole that goes into the transmission is almost exactly 1" in diameter is the one on this part that size? Secondly I need about 75" of total length. How long is this one? Thanks, LRR

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can help. This is for 2x4 vehicles only. It wouldnt be effected by an overdrive.

Hi , I need speedometer driven gear for transmision T96 w/overdrive

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We may be able to help. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com

I have a 1961 Willys Station Wagon, 2WD. I'm trying to keep the drivetrain as original as possible. So far, so good! It's got a newly rebuilt 226 Super Hurricane engine. The transmission has these numbers: T86-E W G DIV N7 This Speedo gear LOOKS correct. Could you tell me for sure if it would fit my vehicle? Thanks! Dan

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, these are for the T-96 only.

Will this fit the 1948 2WD truck ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, I dont believe so.

Can be set to a t96 transmission From a dj-3a

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, I do believe they are different.

Does this need to be lubed? If so, what to use? I installed new complete unit without lubing it and speedometer spins erratically. I did test the speedometer with cordless drill and it works fine. The little gear in the transmission end looks good.(not worn or chipped) What else can I check before disassembling the cable .

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I do believe the book calls for light duty oil to be used. I will double check. Thanks!

Do you sell the speedometer gear that fits into the transmission for a 1948 Willys Jeepster? Thank you, Jake

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That would be used only. Please call us toll free. We can help.

i have a cj5 2wd,with a t96-1c transmission(manual).its got the big speedo.will this fit.

Willys Tech:
CJ-5's were never 2x4. Sounds like you have a DJ. This speedometer will only be for the vehicles listed above.

I would like to know the overall length of this cable. I am working on a Kaiser car that uses a cable exactly like this one but I just want to verify. Mine is about 72. Thanks.

Willys Tech:
These are approx 64 like original.
