Questions & Answers
Will this bracket work with a Carter YF down draft on a ‘60 Willy’s CJ 6 with the F-head 134 engine. My carburetor doesn’t seem to have or it’s been removed the throttle cable mounting bracket and cable stay on the throttle arm. It has the choke cable bracket and stay. I ordered the matching engraved choke and throttle cables but have only been able to install the choke cable.

I believe it will mount up but be a bit long but the cable would probably handle it since its flexible.

What type longer screws do you need to attach to the carb? Do you sell them?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This would take the original screws used on your carburetor. This was originally used on your carb.

Do I need a bracket for throttle cable on a 46 cj2a? 8329825 Dan

A CJ-2A would have a Carter WO on there so this really wouldnt apply to your vehicle.

Hi, how does this bracket mount on the carburetor? The throttle linkage has a lot of resistance....what keeps the throttle cable pulled out? Thanks
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It just attaches with the two holes drilled thru to the middle body.
