Do have tubes for a 6.5-16 tire that have steel short stems?

I bought a set of wheels for a 3B from you, and had Firestone NDT's mounted. After picking them up from the tire shop, the holes in the rims for the valve stem are a larger diameter than the inner tube stem. Should they have put some sort of stem protector around the valve stem first, to protect the valve stem from the inside edges of the wheel? If so, is there anything I can do now, after they have been mounted?

Please explain to me why this item has an additional oversized item shipping fee of five dollars? It's packaged in a box that's not much bigger than an ignition coil.

I'm looking at getting 700-16 tires for my M381A. Your listing for tires state to search for "TUBE-16" which brought me to the listing for 6.00-6.50 tube. Will this tube be big enough for 700-16 tires? I see that you also have tubes for 7.0 & 7.5" tires. Which one should I purchase?

I have a 1951 CJ3A. It is used in South Texas for hunting - lots of sharp thorns etc. Do you guys have any ideas on puncture proofing tires? Do they make a puncture proof tube?
