I'm wondering if maybe this is some different version? The bolt doesn't fit in the transfer case hole and there is a "cup" welded to my frame that held the previous insulator. The old one seams very different than what I received. Thanks

Hi I ordered this part from you guys last year and went to instal it and there's no steel cups on the one I have. Did the part change?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The steel cups come with it already attached. Your old one would have had them too.

Hi, regarding install, does the bolt head go on bottom and nut on top? Also, do the two pieces go together (butt up together) between the crossmember and transfer case "tab"? Thanks
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The head of the bolt would go down. The rubber goes on either side of the crossmember then.

Will this work for the transfer case with the 225 v6
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
As long as you have this style round mount it will be correct. Later CJ-5's used a different style.

How do I remove the old mount? I removed the bolt it just doesn't want to come off.
Willys Tech:
It is just a single bolt that holds it in place.

Which side of this faces the transfer case ?
Willys Tech:
No exactly sure what you mean. The metal cup of the insulator will go down into the welded holder on the crossmember.
