I have a 1946 cj-2A with the stock d-18 tranfer case, it will leak all the fluid out if driven very far. I have put several new output seals in it, Do you thing the breather is plugged? Are the breathers threaded in?
Willys Tech:
The breather is on top on the passenger side of the transfercase. I would check it. I would check your output seals by the yokes to confirm they are not leaking as well.
