Is there a trick to getting these rollers in place and stay when I install the pilot shaft?

I could only fit 13 bearings in it, what is the problem?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The 14th will be very tight and you will need to push it into place. If you need some more assistance please give us a call and we can help you out.

I could only fit 13 bearings and the shaft fit and rolled smoothly, 14 bearings didn’t fit the shaft end. What kind of problem will this potentially cause?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Stack them in there until binding and then remove one is what we typically do. Just make sure none drop on you.
