I am trying to install this rubber shift lever boot. Does the shifter knob unscrew? If so are the threads normal (loosen to the left). I have a CJ2A.

Yes it should unscrew normal thread. But some situations a push on knob was used and occasionally people would use glue to hold it to the lever.

will this work for the single shifter transfer case?

It is for a single stick but i dont think it will attach at the floor right for the transfer case.

Will this fit into a 3 speed 1971 Jeespter Commando V6? This part retrieved when selecting the car type, but I'm worried as in product details it's only mentioned "55-71 CJ-5", and not any Jeepster Commandos. regards!

Does this work with the four floor levers ( 3 speed, overdrive, transfer, and high/low levers) ? This looks like it only has one hole.
