Is your synchronizer assembly also made in the USA like your complete overhaul kits? Same parts as used in the overhaul kit? What's their reliability? I only want to do the transmission once..... Thanks.

Yes, these are typically in fact NOS originals.

Have a 42 GPW, have replaced synchronizer gear many times and it still jumps out of 2nd gear. Pretty scary when coming downhill and the thing pops out of gear. Any suggestions. Have taken it to a jeep repair mechanic and issue is not remedied.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Its probably an issue in your top shifter. The T84 is very sensitive to any issues there. I would check your shift fork and the cane lever.

I have a Willys MB from 42 and when changing 2nd from 3rd gear the gears grind. all other gear changes are fine. any suggestions on what it could be? synchronizer issue?
Great!
Willys Tech:
Sounds like a sycronizer issue to me. I would also check the gears themselves for excessive wear or chipped teeth.
