I have a 1960 M38A1 that has a Buick V6 and a SM420 transmission. The previous owner removed the fuel cell he had installed in the bed. The floor has been leveled and the original tank fuel port is covered. What tank would you recommend to install under the rear floor for this vehicle? Thank you

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com it may be better to go to an under the seat tank.

I have a 1966 CJ5 with the V6. Do you sell or do you know a company who does sell a plastic tank with the fuel outlet on the under side of the tank like the original steel tanks?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Only the steel tanks are made the way we offer. All the poly tanks are top feed.

Hi, do you have a locking gas cap for this tank?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Unfortunately, no we do not.

I have a 1966 cj5 The fuel tank has 2 out lets on the bottom and 1 recovery on the top near the fill port.it looks like that one on the bottom is a drain port and the other is a supply line connection yes or no ??

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The two ports on top are actually through the sending unit. You will see two holes next to the sending unit that are not straight through. They are there in case someone wanted to drill them out and tap them. In order to drain the tank fully, you would remove the tank and drain through the filler neck.

I purchased a 66 CJ5 project that came with a plastic fuel tank that the owner said they purchased from you folks. My question is , is there a installation information for it? It has 2 holes drill and tapped but the holes are not drilled through the top . Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please send mike@kaiserwillys.com what you have there so we can confirm and see and help. Thanks!

Is this the tank I need for a 69 CJ5 with the 225 V6? Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this would work for an under the seat tank in a CJ-5 that takes a 6 hole sending unt.
