These are rockwell tested beyond the original hardness of the stock intermediate shaft.

This is the shaft that goes thru the middle of your D18 housing between the mainshaft gear (947382) and output shaft sliding gear (809290).

The Intermediate shaft gear (809293) rides on this shaft

They have 2 oil grooves and come with both oil seals to stop leaks at the housing.

This is the best quality shaft there is.
