Does the crankshaft have to be removed to install these seals?They seam similar to the Jeep 258 and 242 rear mains. They can be installed by simply pulling the rear bearing cap and pushing the old seal out pushing the new in. Install lower have seal in bearing cap.

Is the US made seal better than the other neoprene seal (800093)? Other than the price they look to be designed a little differently. Is one of the two better at preventing leaking? Thanks

Does this seal fit correctly? 800093 is too tight on the crankshafts, a well documented issue it seems.

Both our seals fit correctly. There are a few manufactures that they are tight. But we dont sell those.

Which way does the main seal go in. There is a flat side and one side with what may be referenced as a lip.
