Questions & Answers
I’m working on a 1960 Willys CJ6 I’ve removed a none working heater. Going to plug the port at back of the head and the on the water pump. My ? Is do I need to install this by pass hose at the front of the head. I have both port in the head and the water pump. But they are currently plugged or can I leave it as is? Thanks

It would be best to keep the bypass but you could plug it off and get away with it.

I have a 1962 CJ5 w/F head. I removed the heater core and am not re-installing it. Do I need to connect a hose from the water pump to the cylinder head port on the rear of the engine? I think this hose is not right for my situation.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you are not using it, then you can just plug it off.
