This is correct f0or original M38a1 1956 Military? Not the clamp style A2227?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes this is what will work for the M38A1. The A2227 don't work for CJ-5 and M38A1.

ok I bought a dash from walks and just getting around to finishing the dash install. i ran into a difficulties with getting the windshield clamps to adjust properly. seems that the holes are 1/8 inch too high. so do I elongate the holes to fit , weld some shims on the hooks ,or purchase the kit you have. it looks like your is a improvement over the cam style? thank you

I have brand new latches on my cj2a and whenever I hit a bump, they come loose. I have adjusted them all I can but still they won't hold the windshield securely. Will these work on my 46 or is there something like them for my model?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You would want A2227 for the 2A. Your weatherseal may be out of spec and flattened is my guess. They are adjustable from the backside too.
