I order a one piece weatherseal for my 1962 pickup and it seems to be way too large in the truck frame. Any ideals on what's wrong

This is the proper seal. You have to install the seal in the frame first with all four corners pressed in hard. Make sure to soak the seal and get it nice and pliable and hot. Work the glass in after - use soap.
