I have a 51 cj3a and have the regular hood hold down latches that look like the above set, but my jeep has other holes drilled in the fender where it must have had a second set of the above part for the windshield to be hooked to the hood at some point. I believe this was only originally done on the military version. Can you let me know if I'm correct or could I use these on my cj3a to hold the windshield down as well since the holes are already drilled?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The CJ-3A never used part number: 7601V. They used part number: 7601 at the front of the hood/fender to hold it down.
